Sliding doors utilize a torsion spring balancing system to lift vertically or slide around corners along tracks installed on both sides of the door opening. Features of Industrial Sliding Doors
Door Assembly: The door panels are made of double-sided color-coated steel sheets, with the space between them filled with polyurethane foam using a high-pressure foaming machine. The polyurethane foam is an environmentally friendly material that does not contain CFCs. The panels are designed to connect using small R-shaped interlocking grooves. The door assembly can be equipped with a viewing window or a small pedestrian door.
Hardware Fittings: Manufactured from hot-dip galvanized steel sheet through stamping or rolling processes, with surfaces available in powder-coated or blue-galvanized finishes. They feature an elegant and attractive appearance, excellent flexibility, and long-lasting durability.
Balancing System: Torsion springs are used to balance the door’s weight through their torque, making it easier to open the door manually, thereby reducing the load on the motor and extending its service life.
Control System: Driven by a shaft-type side-mounted motor or a chain-drive motor, the gate is operated via a remote control, push-button switch, or similar controls. The motor is equipped with a manual clutch switch, allowing the gate to be opened manually or via the chain in the event of a power outage.
Safety Systems: Features include steel wire rope break protection, torsion spring break protection, airbag protection, and spring shock absorbers.
Lifting Methods for Industrial Sliding Doors
There are four common lifting methods for overhead doors: standard lifting, vertical-angled lifting, high-position lifting, and vertical lifting. Vertical-angled lifting is used when pipes or other objects obstruct the door’s path during the lifting process, while vertical lifting is suitable for situations where there is sufficient space above the door opening and no obstructions. The appropriate method is selected based on the specific conditions at the site.
